You can take the Probe It Food Safety Food Safety course on most devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, and newer smartphones. However, Windows 7 is not supported. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for the best experience.
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to complete your food handler training and final exam.
Extension are free. We don’t charge for extention like other companies. Corporate and educational group students should contact their supervisor for extensions.
The course takes about 6 hours, but you can go at your own pace within the 30-day access period.

Yes! You can retake the exam as many times as needed for free, as long as you follow all exam proctoring rules. If you break the rules, there will be a $10 charge per additional attempt.
Refunds can be requested only before starting the food handler course.
To request a refund, email your electronic receipt to our customer service team at support@probeit.ca with the subject line: “Online Course Refund.” Please include the reason for your request.
Refunds will not be issued once the course has started or expired. All group purchases are final.
Your printable digital food handler certificate & wallet card will be available immediately after completing the training and passing the final exam. You will also receive an emailed copy within minutes.
Your Probe It Food Safety Food Safety Certification is valid for five years from the date of issue, following industry standards.
Ensure your name is entered correctly during registration, exactly as it appears on your Government-Issued Photo ID. Certificate name change requests may be subject to additional fees.

The course fully prepares learners for the food handler certification exam. If you don’t pass, you can retake it as many times as needed until you achieve a passing grade and earn your certification.
